Semana Cuarenta y Uno(My Week Represented in Risk Figures..... And Conference-mania!) (Allen, TX)

What a week......

This week was quite the roller coaster with some notable lows (Namely the fact that we were anti-bashed/pounded for EIGHT hours straight this week...... I'm serious. Whether it be working a booth and random people coming up to you bent on saving your soul by dragging your faith through the mud, Jehova's Witnesses, or even family team up time when the whole family invites you over and they all attack. (children included.......) It just makes for an exhausting week. Satan clearly knew General Conference was on the way, and was bent on making it a bumpy and exhausting road to get there.

(This portion of the week is represented below by the two blue missionary/risk figures surrounded by evil red horse enemies......)

However, my weekend can be summarized by the second risk figure picture......  Conference was AWESOME. Totally blew any negative aspects of the week out of the park. So good. Need I say more. If you didn't get to watch all four sessions. Do it. No excuses. Just sit yourself down, pop some popcorn, and watch it. No excuses. But I'm serious, I feel so spiritually uplifted and fed. If you don't know if President Nelson is truly a prophet of the Lord, the answer is once again, "Sit yourself down and watch some conference." Trust me you won't regret it.

The area's doing well. We're teaching a couple solid people we hope to see baptized in the next couple months, but for the most part we do a lot of old fashioned tracting. Because my area is so small, and I know that next transfer it's getting cut in half again, I've made a goal to knock every door in my area. (Which even though my area is small, is a dang lot of wealthy homes.......) Wish me luck!

In other exciting news, TRANSFERS are next week! I'm excited to see what happens!

But that about wraps it up for this week......... Love ya'll!
