Semana Dos (Week 2)

Hello friends and family!

I'm still hear and I'm still breathing!

My second week felt a lot more challenging, but far more rewarding! The spirit here is so strong. I've mentioned this a couple in emails to people, but the MTC has a very powerful, but different spirit about it. The temple has a spirit of peace, while the MTC has the spirit of a military camp for the soldiers of God. The language continues to be challenging, but I know it will come. Learning this language is one of the hardest tests of patience and humility I've had in my life. I have the will, and if I could I would learn it all in a day, but it simply doesn't work that way....... Oh well.

It was a pleasure, and really made my week, getting to read emails from some of you this week! Thank you! I am honestly loving my time hear. If you can, I highly suggest serving a mission.

I can hardly speak the language, but this week my companion (Elder Peterson) and I found an "Investigator" named Mauricio. We will have our first lesson with him in Espanol this Wednesday at 9:30 AM. I can pray, bear my testimony on most gospel topics, and talk freely about a lot of gospel topics, but that's about it.......... I really struggle comprehending what people are saying.

Supposedly an Apostle is coming to speak to us this Tuesday night, so we're all looking forward to that! I'm loving the hours of study I get hear at the MTC. I'm able to just dive into the scriptures, and study and learn with no worries. I love it. I can clearly see the hand of the Lord in my life the longer I'm here! The are lots of meetings, classes and devotionals here. Unfortunately many of mine are in Spanish. I look forward to the day when I will understand what is being said!

Now........ There's a lot of great spiritual stuff going on down here in Provo. But let me tell you. Missionaries know how to have good time!

In one of the pictures you will see several Elders playing chess........ Every Elder in that picture (Including myself!) is wearing a cheap dollar store mustache and is talking in an accent.

In another picture Elder Philpot is teaching us a very important lesson entitled quote- "Why is Elder Fox Here Today?" The answers-

-Because Giraffe
-Pasta Favaste
-Dinosorse
-Because Chastity
-Columna de luz
-Invitar alos persons a venir a Elder Fox

(Each one of those answers is a very detailed inside joke!)

This church is true, I love you all! Look for my email next Saturday!

~Elder Fox

P.S- I think there was some technical difficulty last week with pictures, so I'll include some of the old ones as well.
