Semana Treinta y Cinco (Of Donkeys and A-Salt Guns!) (Greenville)

Howdy-do, howdy-do!

Nearly four and a half months into this Greenville party, and eight months into the mission as of tomorrow and still going strong. We have transfers next week, so this could be my very last email from Greenville. It's pretty funny, even the members here see me and say something along the lines of "You're still here! How long has it been?" I would love to stay another round in Greenville (Pronounced Green-vol.......), but I'd also love to see more of Texas. We'll take what comes and love it.

In regards to A-Salt Guns and donkeys, this week we were eating at a members house who lives WAY out in the middle of nowhere! Anyways, after dinner, and feeding their donkeys, they handed us these awesome salt/shot guns used to blast grasshoppers, spiders, crickets, and other pests. Let's just say that those guns got put to good use....... (Giant spiders make great targets.......)

In regards to "productive" missionary work this one, was one to remember! We've been struggling to find Spanish investigators for the last........ oh that's right, FOREVER! But that changed this week! One day this week, we could do no wrong. Every door we knocked turned out to be some wonderful Hispanic person who invited us back to share more! In addition this week, my Spanish has finally begun to click. It's about time, so I'm pretty happy about that. All in all this week was great. Lot's of new investigators, lot's of lessons, and several investgators at church. I'll be said if I get transferred out next transfer because their will be a TON of baptisms in Greenville next month!

I just want to leave you with something that you'll probably recognize, but of which few things have done more to change the course of human history.........

Amen.

¡Que tenga una semana bueno!
