Semana Treinta y Nueve ("But You're Not Going to Get Me Today!! ")

Howdy ya'll!

Today's looking like a pretty crazy day, so we'll keep this to a reasonable length....... This week was awesome! Besides being molested by hoardes of vicious mosquitos and barely getting away with my life, we've worked hard, and are now planning to have a baptism this Saturday! (The first baptism in this area since the spring...........)

Here's a funny story from the week.......  On Wednesday we usually work a booth at a local college, and usually that's pretty slow, but this week this guy came up and started telling us how when he lived in Hawaii he used to have the missionaries over for a BBQ everyweek, until the missionaries decided it wasn't where the Lord needed them to be. After telling us the story, he talked about missionaries and as he walked away his parting words were, "But you're not going to get me to-day!" The way he said it was hilarious , and Elder Peterson and I could hardly contain our laughter! But this week has been really good!

This next week should be interesting. Elder Peterson and I are going on an extended exchange to help out a struggling companionship, so I'll be in a Spanish bike area all of this next week. So I'm pretty excited about that!

I love this work, and wouldn't give it up for the world! Love ya'll!
